Returning in 2017!
Starting in 2017, The Tarot Guild will once again offer Certifications for Tarot Professionals!
Certification is not for everyone, but a majority of our Members want us to offer this. You certainly don’t have to be certified to be an excellent Professional Reader! However, more and more Readers want to get Certified, for their own reasons. Some say it helps with their own confidence. Others want to be seen as a Professional, by their clients.
Most professional services have certification, even in unregulated industries such as ours – Hypnotherapists, NLP Practitioners, Reiki Practitioners, Life Coaching, and so on…
As soon as our Certification Program is once again available, we will post that HERE, as well as on the Guild Blog: TarotGuild.org/Blog, our Facebook Group: TarotGuild.org/Facebook …and our Facebook PAGE: TarotInsider.com
Our Tarot by The Numbers Course is included with your Guild Membership, and prepares you for Certification at the CTR Level: TarotGuild.org/Learn
You do not have to be a member of The Tarot Guild, or take our course, to apply; though Members will receive a significant discount on the certification fee…
Certification at Each Level is $78 for non-members, and $47 for Members…
The Guild will be offering Four Certifications:
Certified Tarot Reader – CTR
This will be the base level, replacing our current Endorsed Readers Program. Applicants will be tested for a basic knowledge of Tarot, in addition to a practical Reading test, with two of our staff members.
Applicants will not be judged based on their style of Reading or accuracy, but rather their ability to perform a professional, insightful, informative Reading.
We will be asking ourselves, Would I return to this Reader for another session? Would I recommend this Reader to a friend? What did I get out of the Reading and was it helpful? …and so on.
Certified Tarot Professional – CTP
This level builds on the CTR level. It’s designed for those who have been a CTR, working as a professional, for at least two years, and have built on their knowledge base, skills & abilities, by getting Certified as a Life Coach (our course or comparable).
CTP applicants will also be required to show they have taught a minimum of five classes / workshops relating to the profession, via The Guild Classroom, and contributed 10 Blog Posts/Articles to the Guild Blog…
Certified Tarot Master – CTM
The Certified Tarot Master level further builds on the CTR and CTP levels. Both CTR’s and CTP’s are eligible to apply. Applicants must have been certified at the CTR or CTP level, and worked as a professional, for a minimum of five years.
CTM applicants must show they have built on their knowledge base, skills & abilities, by getting Certified as a Life Coach (our course or comparable), and getting Certified in one additional professional modality:
Numerologist, EFT, NLP, Energy Healing, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Time-Techniques, Law of Attraction Practitioner, Business – Success – or Relationship Coach, etc. (Our Courses or comparable)
CTM applicants will also be required to show they have taught a minimum of ten classes / workshops relating to the profession, via The Guild Classroom, and contributed 25 Blog Posts/Articles to the Guild Blog…
The Guild may, at it’s discretion, award the CTM title to members of the Tarot Community who have made a Significant Contribution to the World of Tarot, and bypass the above criteria.
Members of The Tarot Guild, in good standing, may petition to nominate an individual to be awarded the CTM title. None of the petitioners may be the individual being nominated, and there must be a total of 25 signatures.
Certified Tarot Grand Master – CTGM
The CTGM is usually an honorary title. Typically once a year, The Guild will award the CTGM title to a small handful of individuals in the Tarot Community, who have made a Significant Contribution to the World of Tarot, AND are well-known as Leaders in our industry….
